Software Engineer - Surface Dominance As part of the Maritime Division, you will join a multi-disciplinary team focused on developing autonomous systems for complex maritime operations. What you'll do

Develop software for autonomy, simulation, data processing, and payload integration on robotic platforms.
Design and implement scalable software that provides a clear path for future architectural evolution.
Create reusable software components across multiple product lines to streamline development.
Build test and simulation fixtures using both software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop methods.
Manage the full lifecycle of vehicle and mission software, including testing, monitoring, and operation.
Act as a technical owner for software services by managing requirements, roadmaps, and team coordination.
Support the manufacturing and deployment of maritime systems to end-users.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer in one or more specialized domains or technologies.
Proficiency in systems and application programming including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, and system design.
Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
Ability to act as a technical owner for software services, including stakeholder engagement and roadmap management.
Ability to mentor junior team members and build team cohesion.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience in military mission systems, C++, Rust, Go, TypeScript, React, or high assurance safety critical software (preferred).
