JOB TITLE: Software Engineer - SoC Level Validation Engineer As a Software Engineer - SoC Level Validation Engineer within the Silicon Technologies group, you will help design and manufacture next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chip technology. Your daily responsibilities include writing SoC and CPU directed and random tests, debugging issues pre-silicon and post-silicon, and developing the system-level SW platform. You will lead software development and execution plans for SoC projects while collaborating with designers and architects to achieve validation goals. The role requires proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly, along with knowledge of micro-architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupt and DMA, clock and power gating, and SoC bringup. You will utilize hardware and software debug tools and scopes to identify corner-case hardware bugs within a bare metal system level SW suite.

What you'll do

Write SoC and CPU directed and random tests.

Identify corner-case hardware bugs using bare metal system level software suites.

What we're looking for

BS in EE or CS.
10 years of experience.
Embedded programming experience.
SOC and CPU knowledge including micro-architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupt, DMA, clock/power gating, and SoC bringup (preferred).
C/C++ and Assembly language programmer (preferred).
Knowledge of hardware and software debug tools and methods (preferred).
Experience with scopes (preferred).
