As a Software Engineer - SoC Level Validation Engineer within the Silicon Technologies group, you will help design and manufacture next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chips. Your primary responsibility involves breaking Apple Silicon using a bare metal system level software suite that runs mostly post-silicon to identify corner-case hardware bugs. You will develop SoC and CPU directed and random tests, debug issues in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments, and maintain the system-level software platform. This role requires proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly, along with knowledge of hardware and software debug tools. You must understand micro-architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupts, DMA, clock and power gating, and embedded programming. You will collaborate with designers and architects to achieve validation goals for complex hardware-software interfaces.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
3 years of experience.
Knowledge of SoC and CPU micro-architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupts, DMA, clock/power gating, and SoC bringup (preferred).
Proficiency in C/C++, C++, and Assembly language programming (preferred).
Knowledge of hardware and software debug tools and methods (preferred).
Experience with embedded programming and understanding of hardware-software interfaces (preferred).
