As a Software Engineer - SoC Level Validation Engineer within the Silicon Technologies group, you will help design and manufacture next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chips. Your primary responsibility involves breaking Apple Silicon using a bare metal system level software suite that runs mostly post-silicon to identify corner-case hardware bugs. You will develop SoC and CPU directed and random tests, debug issues pre-silicon and post-silicon, and maintain the system-level software platform. This role requires collaborating with designers and architects to achieve validation goals for complex algorithms. You must possess proficiency in C/C++, Assembly, and embedded programming. Key technical competencies include micro-architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupt and DMA, clock and power gating, and experience with SoC bringup and hardware-software interfaces.

What we're looking for

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
3 years of experience.
Knowledge of SoC and CPU micro-architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupts, DMA, clock/power gating, and SoC bringup (preferred).
Proficiency in C/C++, Assembly language, and embedded programming (preferred).
Knowledge of hardware and software debug tools and methods (preferred).
Experience with hardware-software interfaces (preferred).
