As a Software Engineer III - Python/Databricks/AWS within the Corporate Technology team, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team designing and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You are responsible for executing software solutions, troubleshooting complex problems, and producing architecture artifacts while ensuring design constraints are met by production code. Your daily work involves maintaining algorithms, building data pipelines, and developing visualizations from large, diverse datasets to improve system architecture. You will utilize Python, Databricks, AWS, and enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to enhance development speed and quality. The role requires expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, and application resiliency. You will solve technical problems across various business functions by identifying patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and overall system performance.

What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Strong experience with Python, Databricks, AWS, and building/maintaining data pipelines.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, troubleshoot, and refine outputs for security and performance.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred) and exposure to cloud technologies (preferred).
