As a Software Engineer III within Corporate Technology, you will join an agile team to design and deliver secure, scalable, and stable technology products. You are responsible for executing software solutions, developing high-quality production code, and maintaining algorithms across various business functions. Your daily work involves creating architecture artifacts, troubleshooting complex technical problems, and developing visualizations from large, diverse datasets. You will utilize Python, PySpark, and SQL to build data pipelines and deploy machine learning models. What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs for security and performance.
Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency expectations.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Experience with Python, PySpark, Big Data, data pipelines, Machine Learning, and strong SQL skills for data quality validation.
Experience with Spark cluster optimization, AWS services (EMR, EC2, S3, CloudWatch), and Databricks for data pipelines and ML deployment.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred).
Experience in Cloud Technologies, specifically AWS and Databricks (preferred).
Understanding of Python Machine Learning libraries and ecosystems like Pandas and Numpy (preferred).
AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect Associate (preferred).
Exposure to workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Control M (preferred).
