What you'll do

Develop and troubleshoot complex software solutions using non-conventional approaches to solve technical problems.

Utilize enterprise AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and document code while ensuring security compliance.
Integrate automation capabilities within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve delivery value.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all design constraints are met.
Analyze large, diverse datasets to create visualizations and reports for continuous system improvement.
Identify hidden patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to create, validate, and refine code for performance and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to security expectations.
Knowledge of AWS Data Management services such as Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, and Lake Formation.
Proficiency in Python or Java and database query languages for large-scale application development and maintenance.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) experience (preferred).
AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer level certification (preferred).
