Software Engineer III, Asset Management Technology

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack software solutions to address complex technical challenges.
• Translate business requirements from stakeholders into well-planned, high-quality technical designs and roadmaps.
• Execute the build-out of end-to-end platform capabilities for Fund Administration and Transfer Agency businesses.
• Implement AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and automated testing.
• Write and maintain secure production code while performing peer reviews to ensure engineering standards.
• Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of applications and systems.
• Maintain technical documentation including architecture decisions, runbooks, and system designs.
• Participate in communities of practice to promote modern tooling, patterns, and best practices.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Core Java and full-stack application development skills using object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
• Experience with REST APIs and developing code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
• Hands-on experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle, including system design, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support.
• Experience writing and maintaining comprehensive unit, functional, and integration tests.
• Experience implementing observability practices such as monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and SLO/SLA management.
• Experience building event-driven systems and distributed architectures using messaging and streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Familiarity with React, AWS cloud services, AWS certifications, and financial services experience (preferred).
