What you'll do

Design and develop secure, high-quality production code for distributed systems and microservices.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, or equivalent practical experience, and minimum 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming languages and database querying languages like Java and SQL.
Experience with distributed systems concepts and building services in patterns such as microservices and RESTful APIs.
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile delivery practices.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security expectations.
Familiarity with enterprise frameworks like Spring, messaging systems like Kafka, cloud platforms like AWS, and databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL (preferred).
