What you'll do

Develop and maintain features across the internal content authoring platform including UI, server-side rendering, and backend services.
Build and improve WYSIWYG and AI-assisted workflows to streamline marketing content creation for apple.com.
Develop and operate Node.js microservices to support the platform's backend infrastructure.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented TypeScript code while participating in thorough code reviews.
Contribute to frontend component libraries and shared tooling used across the authoring platform.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and developer experience improvements.
Translate product requirements into well-architected technical solutions for internal tools.

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript.
Experience building applications with Node.js, React, and server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js.
Familiarity with modern front-end development practices including component-based architecture and state management.
Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
BS/MS in Computer Science or a similar degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred experience deploying production Node.js microservices and building GUI applications for content management.
Preferred experience integrating LLM-driven capabilities and knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
