What you'll do

Architect and lead distributed compute platforms and application services.
Deploy application releases and code from development environments into production.
Automate repetitive manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
Manage applications through the entire software delivery life cycle.
Set up and analyze application health metrics to ensure system stability.
Troubleshoot and resolve large-scale production issues in collaboration with teams.
Implement and correlate telemetry using monitoring and observability tools.
Build and operate container orchestrating systems like Docker and Kubernetes.

What we're looking for

BA/BS degree in Computer Science and 3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in software development using Python, Rust, and/or Java programming languages.
Experience working with cloud compute environments like OpenStack, AliCloud, AWS, GCP or Azure.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, CI/CD, and automation.
Experience with troubleshooting, problem solving, and debugging.
Comfortable with on-call rotation.
Conversational and written English proficiency (preferred).
Proficiency in implementing and correlating telemetry using monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus (preferred).
Building and operating container orchestrating systems (Docker, Kubernetes and micro-services) (preferred).
Experience in Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
Experience in UNIX/Linux Operating Systems (preferred).
