Software Engineer Embedded Systems II

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance embedded software, firmware, and low-level platform features.
• Build resilient device drivers, kernel components, and hardware-software interfaces for mission-critical systems.
• Architect and implement system-level test automation and diagnostic tools using Python and CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose complex platform-level issues to optimize memory and CPU performance.
• Perform production triage to resolve intricate software and hardware interaction problems.
• Deliver scalable embedded software solutions across the entire software development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

• Meet one of the following: Master's degree with 0 years experience, Bachelor's with 2 years, or an associate/certification with 3 years.
• High school diploma with 4 years of experience is acceptable for eligibility.
• Education and experience must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C or C++ systems programming is required.
• Experience developing software in embedded Linux, RTOS, or POSIX-compliant operating system environments is required.
• Deep understanding of OS concepts, multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and low-level hardware-software interfaces is required.
• Familiarity with Linux development workflows, debugging tools like GDB and Valgrind, and Git version control is required.
• Experience with device drivers, kernel modules, networking protocols, or Python/Bash automation in CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
