Software Engineer Full Stack / Backend I

What you'll do

• Design and deliver high-quality features across cloud-native platforms and microservices.
• Build technology to power global connectivity and ensure the reliability of mission-critical systems.
• Solve complex technical challenges to enhance system scalability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using languages like Go, Python, Java, or C/C++.
• Create responsive user interfaces and single-page applications using React, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Manage software development workflows in Linux environments using Git version control.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure high-quality code deployment.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must meet one of three education/experience paths: a Bachelor's degree, an associate's/bootcamp with 1 year experience, or a high school diploma with 2 years experience.
• Relevant education or training must be in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Candidates must have coding proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Go, C/C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Candidates must possess knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Candidates must understand full stack fundamentals including RESTful APIs, web development (HTML, CSS, JS/React), and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Git version control is required.
• Preferred experience includes building responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Preferred experience includes cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
