API Engineer

What we're looking for
Experience in back-end or platform engineering including distributed systems and API design using Java or Python.
Experience designing, deploying, and operating real-time, low-latency API platforms such as Apigee, Gravitee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft.
Experience with DevOps practices and technologies including Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows.
Experience with caching, load balancing, API security, and protocols like HTTP, gRPC, or WebSockets.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Git and collaboration tools including Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Nexus, or Bitbucket.
Secret clearance is required.
HS diploma or GED; ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 30 days of hire (preferred); Bachelor's degree in IT or Cybersecurity (preferred).
