ODI Server Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect, build, and maintain mission-critical distributed systems at a large scale.
• Design and develop high-volume REST and gRPC services for server-to-server or mobile client interactions.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle including design, testing, delivery, and maintenance.
• Implement infrastructure as code and build robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Operate and monitor cloud-native applications with a focus on resilience, failover, and self-healing.
• Optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for high-scale performance.
• Lead technical discussions, write specifications, and produce impactful documentation.
• Mentor peers and perform code reviews to ensure engineering excellence.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience architecting, building, and maintaining mission-critical distributed systems at large scales.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals including consistency, latency, and throughput trade-offs.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and global teams.
• A track record of building long-term relationships and exerting technical influence across team boundaries.
• BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on software development expertise with Java, Kotlin, or Scala and Spring (preferred).
• Experience with high-volume REST/gRPC services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native infrastructure (preferred).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, networking, security, and database optimization (preferred).
