What you'll do

Design and develop large-scale distributed cloud services focused on high availability, scalability, and observability.
Own the end-to-end development lifecycle and production readiness of AI services.
Drive a team's DevOps culture through automated deployment and CI/CD practices.
Lead project development by coordinating with subject matter experts to drive release plans.
Perform code and design reviews to uphold modern software engineering best practices.
Make data-driven service decisions based on telemetry and system performance metrics.
Build infrastructure for identifying, measuring, and mitigating Responsible AI risks across multimodal content.
Integrate new AI services with existing platforms like Azure AI Content Safety and Azure OpenAI.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check and other required security screenings.
Experience designing and delivering highly available, large-scale cloud services and distributed systems.
Experience with machine learning model development, release, and operations.
Knowledge of software architecture, design tradeoffs, and mature DevOps culture practices.
Experience using artificial intelligence tools and practices across the software development lifecycle.
Experience in areas such as AI safety governance, inference routing, red teaming, or deployment automation.
