SOAR Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop SOAR playbook content and manage technology integrations.
• Maintain overall tool health and perform regular maintenance on SOAR systems.
• Investigate security alerts based on established playbooks.
• Escalate high-interest security events to senior team members.
• Implement processes and procedures to mature the Security Monitoring service.
• Establish business relationships with internal customers and relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in a regular on-call rotation.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience within information security including experience within a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• 2+ years of experience with Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) technologies.
• Strong understanding of cyber-attacks, risk assessment, and coordinating effective responses.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as XSOAR Engineer, GSEC, GCIH, GPYC or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Deep understanding of SOAR platforms and SOC automation (preferred).
• Experience with using AI technology to enhance automation and process efficiencies (preferred).
• Strong understanding of several technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR and other alerting sources (preferred).
