Senior Automation & Intelligence Tools Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and build automation harnesses and infrastructure to verify security-critical code across multiple operating systems.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows and agentic tooling to accelerate security hardening and development tasks.
• Determine which areas of the codebase require automation and build the corresponding tools.
• Create systems to prove that security features function correctly without degrading the user experience.
• Assess where AI agents can accelerate work and where manual testing or human oversight is required.
• Define and implement test strategies by assessing risk and prioritizing what needs coverage.
• Build and maintain developer tools, frameworks, and CI systems that other engineers depend on.

What we're looking for

• Strong programming skills in Swift, Objective-C, or Python are required.
• Must have a track record of building tools, frameworks, or infrastructure that other engineers depend on.
• Experience is required in designing and deploying automated verification at scale, including harnesses and CI systems.
• Real fluency with AI-assisted development, including using LLMs or coding agents, is required.
• Must have experience owning and driving ambiguous technical problems across team boundaries to completion.
• Ability to clearly explain technical trade-offs to influence partner teams is required.
• Experience building agentic or LLM-backed developer tooling is preferred.
• Background in security, systems-level, or platform software is preferred.
