SOAR Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect, deploy, and operate security solutions for DoD clients in the Indo-Pacific region.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to malicious cyber behaviors that threaten data and systems.
• Create standard operating procedures and configurations to establish a Zero Trust security posture.
• Optimize automation speed for event review and resolution across technical teams.
• Recommend enhanced designs and operations for multi-discipline Zero Trust engineering projects.
• Build operational playbooks to guide incident response and security workflows.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity engineers to develop their skills in defense operations.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring security solutions.
• Experience with SIEM tools for visibility and analytics, including Elastic.
• Experience with SOAR tools, including Palo Alto, Splunk, or Tines.
• Experience with cyber event analytics, workflow documentation, and diagramming processes.
• Knowledge of scan capabilities, asset management visibility, and patch management systems.
• Secret clearance is required.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field (preferred); Top Secret clearance (preferred).
