As the SIP Trainer USASOC West, you will join the USSOCOM System Integration Partner Program to deliver technical training instruction to partner components. You will serve as a counter unmanned systems subject matter expert, managing hardware and software configurations for cUAS-peculiar equipment while identifying knowledge gaps and building solutions for Special Operations Forces customers. Your daily responsibilities include developing training curriculums, such as performance objectives instructions, across various platforms including computer-based simulations and knowledge portals. You will act as the internal voice of the customer to ensure seamless product updates and support. The role requires extensive experience in the US Army Special Forces community, a background in planning or delivering training events, and the ability to communicate complex thoughts simply. This position addresses the technical challenge of integrating advanced technology into military systems for national security.

What you'll do

Deliver technical training and education to Special Operations Forces (SOF) components.
Develop and update training curriculums including simulations and knowledge portals.
Serve as the subject matter expert for counter unmanned systems (cUAS).
Identify customer knowledge gaps and build tailored training solutions.
Manage end-to-end hardware and software configurations for all assigned cUAS equipment.
Act as the internal voice of the customer to communicate product updates and requirements to internal teams.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have 8 years of work experience in the US Army Special Forces community.
Experience within the 75th Ranger Regiment or 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) is highly preferred.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Candidates should have a background in planning training events, developing curriculum, or delivering training.
Ability to communicate complex thoughts simply across various methods of communication and tools is required.
Must possess an ownership mentality with strong initiative to manage work independently in isolated environments.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to support customer delivery and training events worldwide.
