What you'll do

Develop, organize, and deliver Combat System and SONAR Operation training for Undersea Warfare.
Conduct classroom and scenario-based shipboard instruction for critical tactical watch stations.
Instruct personnel on the tactical employment of the ASW SONAR Suite and integrated training systems.
Coordinate the development of complex ASW training programs and related instructional materials.
Manage modernization efforts by overhauling courses, authoring Standard Operating Procedures, and conducting pilot courses.
Provide expert support for SCSTC curriculum development as required by customer objectives.
Mentor junior instructors and manage qualification progress for personnel.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
5+ years of related experience.
Proven expertise as a qualified SONAR Supervisor and Acoustic Sensor Operator-S on AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 combat systems.
Must be a qualified Navy Instructor (NEC 805A) with experience in curriculum development and high-stakes military training.
Demonstrated experience using shipboard and shore-based embedded training systems including TCW, SAST, and BFTT.
Extensive shipboard experience executing fleet-level exercises and CRUDES Basic Phase Training Cycles.
Experience in modernization efforts such as overhauling courses, authoring SOPs, and conducting pilot courses (preferred).
Expertise in CSOSS, Acoustic Analysis, Target Motion Analysis, and maintenance of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 systems (preferred).
Designation Letters for ASWC and SUWC (preferred).
