SerDes Circuit Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Design high-performance and high-speed SerDes PHY circuits including Rx, CDR, Tx, and bias generators.
• Evaluate different circuit topologies to optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) for specific product requirements.
• Create block-level specifications and execute transistor-level implementations and behavioral modeling for mixed-signal blocks.
• Drive mask designs to implement the layout view of integrated circuits.
• Develop mixed-signal calibration algorithms and digitally assisted analog design concepts like LMS-based adaptive loops.
• Implement high-speed equalization techniques such as CTLE, DFE, and de-emphasis for NRZ and PAM applications.
• Perform bench evaluation, correlation, and characterization of AMS ICs from definition to production.
• Conduct lab testing and data analysis for high-speed serial I/O components.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Deep understanding of analog mixed-signal design with experience in high-speed serial links (preferred).
• Experience designing circuit blocks such as Bandgap, LDOs, amplifiers, and oscillators (preferred).
• Understanding of advanced concepts like mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, and low-power techniques (preferred).
• Knowledge of digitally assisted analog design, including background calibrations and LMS based adaptive loops (preferred).
• Experience with high-speed digital circuits and knowledge of Tx/Rx equalization for 64+ Gbps NRZ and PAM applications (preferred).
• Proficiency in circuit modeling using SystemVerilog, Matlab, Python, or VerilogAMS (preferred).
• Hands-on experience in advanced CMOS technologies like FinFET and full IC development cycles (preferred).
