JOB TITLE: Sentinel Principal /Sr Principal Systems Software Analyst - 20407*
The Sentinel program requires a Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Software Analyst to support the configuration, analysis, integration coordination, sustainment, and continuous improvement of an enterprise project controls application suite. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into system requirements, functional designs, and test plans. You will manage day-to-day sustainment, defect triage, and enhancement planning for Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Riskonnect Active Risk Manager, and Oracle Project Integration Framework. Key responsibilities include documenting business rules, coordinating integration analysis with ERP and reporting platforms, and developing test strategies for releases. The position requires expertise in project controls domains such as schedule, cost, change, and risk management within a regulated aerospace and defense environment.
Translate business and operational needs into system requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
Support day-to-day sustainment, configuration coordination, and defect triage for Oracle Primavera P6 and Oracle Unifier.
Document business rules, system behavior, data mappings, and end-to-end process impacts.
Coordinate integration analysis across project controls applications and enterprise systems like ERP and reporting platforms.
Develop test strategies, validation scenarios, and traceability artifacts to support software releases and upgrades.
Investigate system issues, data discrepancies, and workflow failures to perform root cause analysis.
Create and maintain user-facing documentation, including process guides, job aids, and release communications.
Monitor and report on application health, data quality, and operational support metrics.
What we're looking for
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
Principal level: 5 years experience with a Bachelor's, 3 years with a Master's, or 1 year with a PhD (plus 4 years in lieu of a degree).
Sr. Principal level: 8 years experience with a Bachelor's, 6 years with a Master's, or 4 years with a PhD (plus 4 years in lieu of a degree).
Experience supporting or leading enterprise applications through requirements analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, sustainment, or systems analysis.
Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into functional documentation or technical work items.
Experience supporting testing, issue resolution, and release activities for business-critical systems.
Experience supporting enterprise application modernization, enhancements, and operational improvement efforts.
