Apple's Data Collection System team is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic hardware design group. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance prototype systems that support advanced applications in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Photography. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing digital and analog circuits, leading PCB layout reviews, building proof-of-concept prototypes, and managing contract manufacturer interactions for system builds. The ideal candidate should have expertise in processor peripheral interfaces, signal and power integrity protocols, and experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Additional knowledge of SOC’s, microcontrollers, FPGA’s, and camera electrical protocols is preferred.
