As a Sensing HW - Algorithm Systems Engineer, you will join the Sensing Architecture team to develop advanced sensing algorithms for future products. Your daily responsibilities include prototyping, performance bounding, and validating algorithms while assessing sensor hardware requirements. You will design new sensing algorithm architectures using analytical modeling, machine learning methods, statistical signal processing, and classical optimization techniques. To ensure subsystem success, you will collaborate closely with Electrical Engineering and Firmware teams to negotiate cross-functional requirements. The role requires proficiency in high-level languages like Python or Matlab, along with a strong background in image/signal processing, estimation, inference, and engineering math such as linear algebra and probability.
