What you'll do

Lead the design, fabrication, and integration of wire harness systems for R&D teams.
Research and procure components including connectors, back-shells, wiring, and shielding to meet environmental requirements.
Create 3D routed harness data files and 2D formboard drawings using Siemens NX and Capital.
Develop harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams for production release.
Perform electrical trade studies and mitigate risks such as voltage drop, crosstalk, and EMI/EMC issues.
Author assembly instructions and test procedures based on industry standards and best practices.
Advise the electrical team on system requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
Manage multiple projects concurrently across various stages of development and deployment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications.
Proficiency in 3D CAD wire harness routing using Siemens NX and Siemens Capital.
Ability to read and generate formboard drawings in 2D CAD using Siemens Capital.
Experience managing the end-to-end electrical wiring system including power distribution, grounding, shielding, and signal integrity.
Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, and 1553.
Knowledge of MIL-STD requirements and SWaP principles for power, network, and communication systems.
Must be eligible to receive a US Security Clearance.
