What you'll do

Design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems while representing the harness discipline on projects.
Research and procure connectors, back-shells, wire, and shielding to meet environmental requirements.
Develop and generate harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams for production release.
Create assembly instructions and test procedures based on industry standards and best practices.
Guide the electrical team in identifying system requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
Perform electrical trade studies for wire gauge, shielding, connector selection, and topology.
Analyze and mitigate risks such as voltage drop, crosstalk, EMI susceptibility, and thermal effects.
Manage multiple projects concurrently across various stages of development and deployment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
12+ years of hands-on experience designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications.
Experience working directly with harness manufacturers to deliver high quality and reliability products.
Expertise in end-to-end electrical wiring and interconnect systems including power distribution, grounding, shielding, and signal integrity.
Ability to perform electrical trade studies and mitigate risks such as voltage drop, crosstalk, EMI susceptibility, and thermal effects.
Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, 1553) and MIL-STD requirements.
Must be eligible to receive a US Security Clearance.
Proficiency in 3D CAD wire harness routing or building 3D routed harness data files using NX Cabling and Siemens Capital (preferred).
