Senior Turbomachinery Controls Engineer

What you'll do

• Monitor a global fleet of gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, electric motors, and gearboxes.
• Analyze data and alerts from Monitoring & Diagnostic systems to prevent asset failures and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on the monitored fleet and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for regional sites to resolve issues and coordinate customized evaluations.
• Interpret site-specific control software including MarkVI/VIe, MicroNet/Plus, RX3i/RX7i, and Allen-Bradley.
• Prepare technical documentation such as trip root cause analyses, anomaly notifications, and monthly reports.
• Conduct periodic technical reviews and maintain the operating rhythm with customers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to perform root cause analysis and issue resolution.

What we're looking for

• Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Have 5+ years of technical experience on rotating machinery.
• Have knowledge of Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines, Electric Motors and Generators.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Navigate and interpret site-specific control software including MarkVI/VIe, MicroNet/Plus, RX3i/RX7i, and Allen-Bradley.
• Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Have valid work authorization in the country of employment.
