TL;DR · Senior Technical Program Manager, Quality

Senior Technical Program Manager, Quality joins the Air Dominance and Strike Division to manage quality systems for complex hardware production, including autonomous aircraft and missiles. This role moves beyond standard quality engineering by building scalable mechanisms that connect in-process defects to root causes and measurable cost impacts. The successful candidate will own the financial narrative of quality, drive cross-functional resolution across production, supply chain, and design teams, and develop KPIs linking operational metrics to program delivery outcomes. Key responsibilities include performing causal analysis, predictive defect modeling, and maintaining reproducible analysis pipelines using version control and scripting. Required skills include technical depth in manufacturing processes, experience with government quality oversight, and proficiency in statistical process control. Preferred qualifications include Lean Six Sigma certification, Palantir Foundry experience, and knowledge of AS9100 standards within aerospace or defense environments.

What you'll do

  • Build systems that connect quality defects to root causes and measurable cost impacts.
  • Own the financial narrative by tracking the dollar value of every defect and rework hour.
  • Drive cross-functional resolution across engineering, production, and supply chain teams for quality issues.
  • Develop KPIs that link operational quality metrics to program-level cost, schedule, and delivery outcomes.
  • Use quantitative models like statistical process control and predictive modeling to identify systemic patterns.
  • Manage the financial and schedule performance of all decisions related to quality improvements.
  • Prepare technical documentation and analysis reports for internal teams and government stakeholders.
  • Maintain reproducible analysis pipelines using version control, scripting, and scalable workflows.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, quality engineering, or quality systems roles in complex hardware production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build quality systems and cost-of-quality frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience driving cross-functional resolution of quality issues across engineering, production, and supply chain.
  • Technical depth in manufacturing processes sufficient to challenge root cause analysis and validate corrective actions.
  • Experience interfacing with government quality oversight such as DCMA or equivalent.
  • Ability to build or interpret quantitative models for quality and cost decisions.
  • Familiarity with version control, scripting, scalable workflows, and reproducible analysis practices.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience in structured problem solving (preferred).
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or autonomous systems production environments (preferred).
  • Proficiency with data tools like Palantir Foundry or statistical process control software (preferred).
  • Background in causal modeling, classification analysis, or predictive quality analytics (preferred).
  • AS9100 or equivalent aerospace quality management system experience (preferred).
  • Experience scaling quality systems during production ramps from low rate to full rate (preferred).
