Senior Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Coordinate cross-functional activities between program leadership and internal support groups like production and tooling.
• Establish and maintain configuration management practices to enable rapid product iteration.
• Lead requirements generation, analysis, and verification while balancing structure with development speed.
• Drive qualification testing, design-build-test cycles, and integration verification activities.
• Perform root cause and corrective action analysis for issues identified during integration and testing.
• Maintain vehicle architecture documentation, interface definitions, and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support sea operations, strategic technical planning, risk management, and proposal efforts.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration and test, or platform architecture.
• Experience in electromechanical hardware including troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software boundaries.
• Demonstrated skill in root cause and corrective action methodologies.
• Software literacy to read and analyze code in Rust, Python, or C.
• Experience working within requirements frameworks with the ability to adapt and justify changes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
