What you'll do

Manage the configuration, maintenance, version control, and user support for the Fleet Data Analysis System (FDAS).
Design and maintain AI-powered scripts and automated tools to process and interpret submarine patrol data.
Use Python and machine learning frameworks to accelerate data analysis workflows and reduce manual processing time.
Analyze complex patrol datasets to identify anomalies, performance trends, and mission-critical insights.
Produce technical documentation, engineering reports, and briefings to communicate data analysis findings.
Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML innovations to improve data processing efficiency and predictive maintenance.
Maintain compliance with cybersecurity requirements, ITAR regulations, and program security protocols.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
Experience in systems engineering, data analysis, or a related discipline.
Experience with data analysis tools and scripting languages (Python strongly preferred).
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and the ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to create and maintain analysis scripts.
Experience developing and supporting SWC systems software (preferred).
Experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch (preferred).
Experience with SQL databases and data pipeline development (preferred).
