Senior Systems Administrator, Classified IT

What you'll do

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server/desktop and Linux systems in classified environments.
• Manage enterprise services including Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and PKI certificates.
• Execute patch management using WSUS or equivalent tools to ensure system compliance.
• Interpret DISA STIG requirements and implement security remediations for regulated environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot virtualization environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Automate routine tasks and data collection using PowerShell, Bash, and other scripting methods.
• Lead system migrations, upgrades, and maintenance projects with full documentation and change control.
• Serve as a technical escalation point and mentor for junior systems administrators.

What we're looking for

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ or higher DoD 8140/8570-aligned certification.
• Strong hands-on Windows and Linux systems administration experience with the ability to work independently.
• Experience with Active Directory, GPO administration, enterprise patch management (WSUS), and domain-connected systems.
• Experience interpreting and remediating DISA STIG findings in secure or regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or similar administrative scripting; advanced certifications in Microsoft, Linux, VMware, networking, or cybersecurity (preferred).
