What you'll do

Perform rough-cut capacity planning and supply smoothing to establish long-term supply plans for multiple supplier tiers.
Provide analytics on demand forecast accuracy and volatility to identify root causes and mitigate execution issues.
Manage product transitions to minimize excess inventory during platform end-of-life and new platform ramp-ups.
Define inventory buffer targets and strategies based on historical usage while communicating associated financial risks.
Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of component shortages and demand fluctuations on the supply plan.
Develop a supply planning automation roadmap in partnership with systems engineering teams to manage scale.
Measure supply planning inputs and establish supportability expectations with capacity planning teams.
Utilize industry intelligence and long-range projections to demonstrate market share status and business growth impacts.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field and 7+ years of relevant experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (preferred).
Cloud/Hyperscale supply chain experience (preferred).
Strong understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) (preferred).
Strategic thinker with business acumen and solid problem-solving skills (preferred).
Exceptional communication, organizational abilities, and ability to influence others in ambiguous situations (preferred).
