What you'll do

Support space vehicle systems engineering from concept development through design, integration, test, and mission operations.
Develop, decompose, and manage spacecraft system requirements at the subsystem and component levels.
Maintain the space vehicle architecture, technical baseline, and interface definitions to ensure system compatibility.
Perform system-level trades, performance analyses, and technical assessments regarding cost, schedule, and risk.
Lead verification and validation planning to ensure compliance with program requirements and mission objectives.
Participate in major technical reviews and communicate technical status to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with spacecraft design, manufacturing, and launch vehicle interfaces.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 6 years of experience, a Graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience supporting space vehicle systems engineering on government, civil, or commercial satellite programs (preferred).
Experience with spacecraft integration, environmental qualification, launch site operations, or on-orbit anomaly resolution (preferred).
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, requirements management tools, and configuration management processes (preferred).
Familiarity with system-level performance analysis and space vehicle design considerations in various orbital regimes (preferred).
Active security clearance (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
