What you'll do

Participate in the full software development lifecycle to create solutions for integrating and testing complex hardware.
Define, document, and refine software requirements and designs based on mission needs.
Design, implement, review, and test software using C++, C, XML, and Python on Windows and Linux platforms.
Support hardware integration by troubleshooting software, resolving defects, and improving performance.
Apply software engineering best practices and DevOps processes to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
Leverage automation and AI-enabled development tools to improve productivity and software reliability.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
1+ year of experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required to be granted a security clearance.
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) or similar configuration management and defect-tracking tools (preferred).
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum practices, team facilitation, and backlog management (preferred).
