Senior Specialist, Radio Frequency Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform RF and Microwave design synthesis from VHF through Ka-Band at the board or subsystem level.
• Execute electrical design tasks including requirements analysis, specification generation, component selection, schematic capture, and board layout.
• Conduct simulations, breadboarding, testing, and troubleshooting of RF circuits and subsystems.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for RF subsystems.
• Manage technical responsibility for schedule, cost, and performance at the board or subsystem level.
• Participate in peer reviews, preliminary design reviews, and critical design reviews.
• Apply practical RF system considerations such as path loss calculation, cascade noise figure, and intercept point.

What we're looking for

• Active US secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 7-10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience with RF and 3D EM Simulation and Modeling, Schematic Capture, and Board Layout CAD tools.
• 4 years of experience with practical RF system considerations and 4 years of experience with basic RF test equipment.
• 4 years of experience in printed circuit board (PCB) layout with direct board level design experience in RF or Microwave bands.
• U.S. citizens.
