Senior Specialist, Radio Frequency Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, simulate, and test RF circuits, antenna systems, and radar components for military applications.
• Execute electrical design tasks including requirements analysis, specification generation, and component selection.
• Perform RF and Microwave design synthesis from VHF through Ka-Band at the board or subsystem level.
• Conduct breadboarding, testing, and troubleshooting of RF circuits and subsystems.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for RF subsystems.
• Manage technical responsibility for project schedule, cost, and performance at the board or subsystem level.
• Participate in peer reviews, preliminary design reviews, and critical design reviews.

What we're looking for

• Active US secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 7-10 years of experience, a Graduate Degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
• 4+ years of experience with RF/3D EM simulation, modeling, schematic capture, and board layout CAD tools.
• 4 years of experience with practical RF system considerations like path loss, noise figure, and intercept point.
• 4 years of experience with basic RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
• 4 years of experience in PCB layout with direct board level design in RF or Microwave bands.
• 4 years of experience with basic Radar performance concepts.
• U.S. citizens.
