Senior RF Design Engineer, EW

What you'll do

• Design and develop complete RF radio architectures from initial requirements through production.
• Architect and design RF up-conversion and down-conversion signal chains while optimizing for noise and distortion.
• Model, simulate, and optimize active and passive RF or mixed-signal circuits.
• Select, characterize, and integrate high-speed data converters with associated baseband driving and filtering circuits.
• Design and optimize clock trees, reference oscillators, and LO/synthesizer architectures.
• Perform system-level spur analyses and develop mitigation strategies for mixer spurs and harmonics.
• Manage the full lifecycle of radio PCBA design including component selection, schematic layout, and manufacturing transition.
• Conduct feasibility studies and define technical requirements for system integration.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 7+ years of experience in the field.
• Experience designing complete RF receiver and transmitter signal chains using common architectures.
• Experience with off-the-shelf discrete RF components including LNAs, filters, mixers, and PLLs.
• Experience with high-speed data converters (ADC/DAC) and associated filter design.
• Experience with synthesizer and LO design, including phase noise analysis and spur management.
• Proficiency in circuit modeling and simulation using tools like Ansys Electronics Desktop or Cadence AWR Microwave Office.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
