Senior Specialist, Data Analytics, Category Planning

What you'll do

• Execute recurring standard reports with consistent timing and formatting for business stakeholders.
• Transform ad hoc data requests into actionable deliverables by identifying core business questions.
• Manage the analytics pipeline by triaging incoming requests and scoping requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain reporting infrastructure by monitoring dashboard health and resolving broken links or missing data.
• Document report logic, inputs, and calculation notes in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform quality assurance including reasonableness checks, variance flags, and source reconciliations.
• Prepare key metrics and summarize critical insights to support leadership decision-making.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in category management/planning analytics, commercial/sales operations analytics, or a similar data-driven role.
• Experience using modern BI tools such as Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau to maintain dashboards is preferred.
• Beginner proficiency in writing SQL queries and exposure to cloud data warehouses like Google BigQuery is a plus.
• Exposure to workflow automation tools like Alteryx is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clarify business questions while providing proactive updates are required.
• Solid analytical problem-solving skills with strict attention to detail and data hygiene are required.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or the Pharmaceutical Distribution/Consumer Health industry is a plus.
