The role requires expertise in radar manufacturing, supply chain management, and sourcing engineering within the defense and aerospace sectors. You will navigate the complexities of procurement for advanced sensor technologies to ensure seamless production from prototype stages through full-scale manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies for radar focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead the RFI/RFQ/RFP process and strategic sourcing activities specifically for radar components.
  • Manage business relationships with Contract Manufacturers to ensure continuity of supply, risk management, and production execution.
  • Perform detailed TCO analysis on quote submissions to make data-driven decisions regarding the supply chain.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to influence technical design specifications and customize manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage supplier performance metrics including delivery, quality, cost, and innovation for assigned commodities.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of radar manufacturing or sourcing engineering.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries is preferred.
  • Proficiency in TCO analysis for data-driven component and supplier selection.
  • Proven leadership skills to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders toward common goals.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
