Senior Solutions Engineer LATAM-MCR (Mexico City) at Cloudflare

What you'll do

• Define technical success criteria collaboratively with customers for complex enterprise initiatives.
• Lead technical discovery and qualification of prospect use cases using solution selling methodologies.
• Design custom validation approaches for unvalidated complex scenarios in high-value prospects.
• Provide strategic guidance on internet security, performance, and future-proofing architectures to clients.
• Develop deep relationships across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support for robust ecosystem integrations.
• Act as a dedicated account advisor, offering technical best practices and strategic guidance post-sale.
• Mentor fellow engineering team members by sharing internal content and delivering specialized training.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3+ years experience in sales engineering or consulting for enterprise segments.
• Expertise in internet technologies including BGP, GRE tunneling, DNS, HTTP(S), and SSL/TLS.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security and performance portfolios with multi-cloud/hybrid environment experience.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages to build custom edge logic and manage IaC.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build long-term relationships from developers to C-level executives.
• Project management skills with a focus on quality, execution efficiency, and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in adopting AI tools to enhance role capabilities.
