Senior Solutions Architect

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validations to align GitLab's platform with customer business needs.
• Manage the full technical evaluation process including solution design, proofs of value, and workshop execution.
• Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud infrastructure practices.
• Build trust-based relationships with both technical practitioners and business leaders to drive platform adoption.
• Act as the voice of the customer by providing product feedback and competitive insights to internal teams.
• Create reusable technical collateral, best practice guidance, and examples for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion.

What we're looking for

• Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles involving solution design and evaluation.
• Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps, CI, and CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts, deployment, security, and operations.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept, proofs of value, tenders, audits, and workshops.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills for both practitioners and senior business decision makers.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and act as a customer advocate to internal teams.
• Fluency in Arabic.
