Senior Solution Engineer, Networking

What you'll do

• Reproduce, resolve, and root-cause sophisticated customer issues for AI cluster network technologies.
• Work with R&D teams to develop bug fixes and workarounds for critical customer problems.
• Serve as a technical authority on InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum-X technologies.
• Analyze network performance metrics to provide tuning recommendations for high-performance, lossless networks.
• Develop software tools to analyze and root-cause field issues.
• Use AI tools for software development, log analysis, and source code debugging in C and Python.
• Provide technical support for high-speed interconnect technologies linking GPUs and AI compute infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of a BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in C or Python development on Linux platforms.
• 8+ years of experience developing, testing, and debugging software for Linux NIC drivers, switch ASICs, firmware, or network operating systems.
• At least 3 years of experience directly supporting end-customers, partners, or integrators for network equipment and infrastructures.
• Strong system software expertise in firmware, BIOS, kernel, drivers, and operating systems.
• Professional-level communication skills, including the ability to adjust technical communication for different audiences.
• Experience developing drivers or firmware for switch and NIC ASICs (preferred).
• Background with AI infrastructure, HPC networking, or experience with InfiniBand and non-Ethernet technologies (preferred).
