What you'll do

  • Reproduce, resolve, and root cause sophisticated customer issues for network and AI cluster support teams.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to develop bug fixes and workarounds for critical customers using NVIDIA network technologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum-X technologies used in AI clusters.
  • Analyze network performance metrics to provide tuning recommendations for high-performance, lossless networks.
  • Develop support and analysis tools to identify and troubleshoot field issues.
  • Use AI tools for software development, log and trace analysis, and source code debugging.
  • Provide detailed technical explanations of root causes and findings to internal and external customers.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of a BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in C programming in Linux and embedded systems.
  • 8+ years of experience developing software for Linux NIC drivers, switch ASICs, firmware, network operating systems, or SDN stacks.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • At least 3 years of experience directly supporting end-customers, partners, or integrators for network equipment and infrastructures.
  • Strong system software expertise in firmware, BIOS, kernel, drivers, and operating systems.
  • Professional-level communication skills, including the ability to adjust technical depth for different audiences.
  • Background with AI infrastructure and HPC networking (preferred).
