What you'll do

Design and build automated test frameworks for Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and distributed workflows.
Create comprehensive test suites including API, contract, integration, performance, and failure-recovery tests.
Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate test generation, data creation, mocking, and documentation.
Review and validate AI-generated code for security, maintainability, and alignment with engineering standards.
Validate complex system behaviors such as asynchronous processing, state transitions, retries, and idempotency.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines while defining quality metrics and release-readiness criteria.
Translate technical requirements and service contracts into executable test cases for the autonomy platform.

What we're looking for

Knowledge of software product testing including designing, planning, and executing testing strategies across all stages of the system lifecycle.
Ability to build maintainable test frameworks, utilities, and production-quality automation code using software development tools.
Knowledge of integration processes to validate APIs, events, data contracts, interfaces, and dependencies across distributed systems.
Ability to analyze risks, identify failure modes, and make informed quality and release-readiness decisions.
Experience building software test automation for backend microservices, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications (preferred).
Experience testing Java 17+ and Spring Boot services using tools like JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, WireMock, or REST Assured (preferred).
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Kafka, and automated test-environment setup (preferred).
Experience building automation with AI-assisted coding platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor (preferred).
