What you'll do

Assess gaps between business expectations and existing products to classify requirements and anticipate solution risks.
Create user stories and convert high-level designs into detailed functional logic using mock screens and pseudo codes.
Develop minimalistic code for components that meet business requirements, high availability, and high scalability needs.
Build scripts to automate repetitive tasks in CI/CD pipelines, testing processes, and other routine workflows.
Implement telemetry features and ensure security policy requirements are applied during code development.
Identify, create, and execute test cases to detect defects and perform regression testing for all code changes.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and conduct complex maintenance procedures by analyzing application logs and metrics.
Manage microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.

What we're looking for

Master's degree in a related engineering or computer science field and 1 year of software engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or computer science field and 3 years of software engineering experience.
Experience programming in Java, Spring, and JavaScript Object-Oriented Programming languages.
Experience developing RESTful microservices using Spring, Spring Boot, and distributed Messaging Brokers including Kafka.
Experience using Docker and Kubernetes container technologies to create, deploy, and manage applications in the cloud.
Experience with API design, development, and management for microservices applications.
Experience creating documentation, technical manuals, and API flow diagrams for Confluence.
Experience utilizing Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL, Spanner, Splunk, and Git.
