Senior Software Engineer, Security Libraries

What you'll do

• Design and build security integrations and detection features for .NET and Java libraries.
• Transition projects from initial prototypes to production-hardened, maintainable code used by thousands of applications.
• Monitor production telemetry to debug cross-system issues and reduce customer-facing problems.
• Define product roadmaps, OKRs, and technical designs through RFCs to align multiple engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to transform new ideas into features that drive customer adoption.
• Mentor teammates and improve overall team effectiveness by raising standards for code quality and testing.
• Develop high-performance, idiomatic code across a polyglot environment including Go, Node.js, Python, Ruby, and PHP.

What we're looking for

• Expert proficiency in .NET (C#) or Java is required for this role.
• Must be a polyglot capable of contributing idiomatically across multiple programming languages.
• Experience building and shipping libraries or SDKs consumed by other developers.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals to produce modular, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Proven ability to manage production systems including monitoring telemetry, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Product-oriented mindset to balance technical trade-offs against customer impact and adoption.
• Clear communication skills for writing RFCs, providing feedback, and collaborating across teams.
• A BS/MS/PhD in a STEM field or equivalent experience is required.
