What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4-8 engineers while empowering senior individual contributors as technical leaders.

  • Shape team identity and culture while taking accountability for project outcomes and problems.

What we're looking for

  • Experience managing a team of engineers including coaching, providing feedback, and overseeing delivery.
  • A senior software engineering background with strong technical judgment.
  • Experience building libraries, SDKs, developer tooling, or systems/run-time software.
  • Pragmatic product-engineering experience working with Product Managers to weigh technical trade-offs against customer impact.
  • Strong cross-team communication skills to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and partners.
  • Experience in application security (WAF, RASP, IAST/SCA) or adjacent observability/APM fields is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the supported languages (.NET, Java, Go, Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP) is preferred.
  • Experience leading distributed or multi-language teams across various stakeholders is preferred.
