What you'll do

  • Design, build, and maintain release infrastructure for deployment pipelines and incident workflows.
  • Drive technical strategy to make release and observability systems more scalable and secure.
  • Identify and deliver improvements to reduce risk and cycle time in the end-to-end release process.
  • Build and evolve tooling for observability and incident response to enable fast resolution.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks in the release infrastructure stack, including security concerns.
  • Define and monitor key metrics for release engineering to guide continuous improvements.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years designing and operating backend or infrastructure systems in production
  • Proficiency in backend programming languages with reliability focus (Go, Java, Python)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and release pipeline automation
  • Experience architecting scalable distributed systems on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
  • Deep familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Strong understanding of observability tooling and SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs
  • Proven track record improving release processes and reducing deployment risk
