What you'll do

  • Drive the delivery of autonomy, simulation, data processing, and command and control software for maritime products.
  • Act as a technical lead for the architecture, design, and evolution of autonomous platforms throughout their lifecycle.
  • Design and implement scalable software that provides long-term architectural growth beyond current platform capabilities.
  • Develop reusable software components across multiple product lines to ensure consistency across the company's portfolio.
  • Create test and simulation fixtures involving both software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop configurations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of vehicle and mission software, including development processes, testing, monitoring, and operation.
  • Develop software for both on-board and off-board robotic platforms using various technologies.
  • Support the manufacturing and deployment of maritime vehicles and systems.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer in one or more domains or technologies.
  • Proficiency in systems and application programming including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, and system design.
  • Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
  • Ability to act as a technical owner for software services, including stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, and roadmap management.
  • Capability to mentor junior team members and build team cohesion.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Experience in senior roles for military mission systems, C++, Rust, Go, TypeScript, React, or high assurance safety critical software (preferred).
