What you'll do

Design and optimize distributed system components for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
Build fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage cloud infrastructure and troubleshooting.
Implement advanced security controls including encryption, access controls, and remediation plans for multi-tenant environments.
Create monitoring tools such as dashboards, telemetry, and alerts to proactively detect and mitigate system issues.
Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and the creation of operational runbooks.
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure software meets high-volume retrieval and storage requirements.
Write maintainable code and perform peer reviews to ensure compliance with engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have 8 years of software development experience, or a relevant degree plus the required years of experience (4 for B.Tech/Bachelor's, 2 for M.Tech/Master's).
A Doctorate in a relevant field is an acceptable qualification.
Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, C++, C#, or similar languages is required.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
Candidates must have 3 years of experience in system-level testing and automation.
Candidates must have 2 years of experience delivering and operating large-scale distributed systems.
Experience leading or mentoring team members is preferred.
Master’s degree in those fields, plus 2 years of software-development.
